Psychological Support

The Association stands alongside people living with Multiple Sclerosis and their families by offering a comprehensive Psychological Support Program designed to address their real-life emotional and psychological needs. With the support of two experienced professionals—a Clinical Psychologist and a Counselling Psychologist—we provide a safe, supportive environment built on understanding, empathy, and trust.

Sessions are available either at the Association’s premises or in the comfort of the patient’s home, depending on individual needs. Services are offered at a nominal fee to ensure that psychological support remains accessible to all.

To access the service, patient members are invited to submit a request to the Association so that psychological support can be arranged according to their individual needs.

The program places particular emphasis on:

  • Strengthening self-esteem and self-confidence
  • Developing effective coping strategies for stress and emotional challenges
  • Improving communication and interpersonal relationships

Psychological support helps individuals express and process the fears and concerns that often accompany a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. It also supports them in adapting to the changes the condition brings, while helping them discover their inner strengths and resilience.

At the same time, it encourages individuals to find renewed meaning in everyday life, live more mindfully in the present, and move forward with greater confidence, hope, and optimism.

We are here to support you, listen to you, and move forward together.
